Decidr AI Industries Ltd (ASX: DAI) has taken another significant step in advancing its global strategy, entering a binding agreement to acquire Sugarwork, a US-based platform that extracts and structures operational knowledge within organisations. This acquisition strengthens Decidr’s position in the emerging agentic economy, and deepens its ability to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end transformation for businesses adopting agentic AI.

Founded in 2022 and headquartered in New York, Sugarwork began by helping organisations capture and own their tacit institutional knowledge. With businesses now adopting AI, but not having a clear view of their underlying workflows, Sugarwork has since evolved into a full-spectrum discovery platform that maps the invisible 80% of knowledge inside a business: pinpointing where to invest in automation and AI, and surfacing previously undocumented workflows.

Strategic rationale: Accelerating schema precision and market entry

Sugarwork’s platform addresses one of the most persistent barriers to AI adoption: the fact that organisations lack visibility into the majority of their real workflows. By capturing the bulk of process knowledge, Sugarwork offers an accurate foundation for transformation planning and automation investment.

Integrating this capability directly into DecidrOS enhances:

Onboarding efficiency, reducing the time required to translate operations into Decidr’s schema.

Data completeness, improving the fidelity of agentic workflows.

Client readiness, supporting SMEs and enterprises to progress from discovery to AI execution with reduced risk.

This strengthens Decidr’s platform differentiation and supports expansion into sectors where workflow opacity has historically delayed AI initiatives.

Enhancing Decidr’s US presence and product ecosystem

The acquisition will fold Sugarwork into Decidr US Inc., further building Decidr’s operational footprint in North America — its fastest-growing strategic market.

Sugarwork will continue operating under its own brand, supported by Decidr’s technical and commercial organisation. Its offering will also form a standalone product in the APAC region, widening Decidr’s market reach and creating an additional revenue pathway for business transformation engagements.

Sugarwork brings established traction across industries including financial services, manufacturing, healthcare and professional services. Notable results include:

70% reduction in onboarding time for a global AI data provider.

Identification of mission-critical processes for a USD $800M Nasdaq-listed medtech company.

These outcomes validate both customer demand and enterprise applicability — two key drivers of ARR growth for Decidr’s global rollout.

Decidr is building the infrastructure required for agentic AI at global scale: schema-driven intelligence orchestration, AI-powered applications across business functions and tools that support every organisation to operate as an adaptive, self-improving system.

The acquisition aligns directly with Decidr’s strategic priorities:

Enhancing the platform’s enterprise readiness

Increasing the depth and value of partner-led transformation programs.

The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including due diligence, shareholder approval and required regulatory processes in both Australia and the United States. Completion is expected by 31 December 2025.

The acquisition follows Decidr’s recent A$20 million capital raise and demonstrates continued execution of Decidr’s long term strategy: building the tools, capabilities and ecosystem necessary to lead the global shift toward agentic, AI-powered organisations.
